Piña Colada Smoothie

Just like the popular Piña Colada cocktail, this dessert smoothie is made with pineapple. It’s incredibly refreshing and won’t take more than five minutes to make.

Put a cup of sliced pineapple chunks in a blender before adding a cup of coconut milk, a couple of dates, and a pinch of nutmeg. Mix until smooth. You can also add ice before blending, or you can freeze the pineapple chunks to eliminate the need for ice.

Triple Berry Kiwi Smoothie

This superfruit smoothie, which can also be enjoyed as a dessert smoothie,  is packed with antioxidants, especially vitamin C.

Did you know that kiwifruit provides about 273% of the recommended daily dose of vitamin C? It even contains the fat-free vitamin E, which is all the more reason to mix it up in all of your smoothies.

For the Triple Berry Kiwi superfood smoothie, you’ll need a cup of frozen strawberries, ½ cup of frozen blueberries, ¾ cup of frozen raspberries, two kiwifruits, and a cup of orange juice.

Thaw the frozen berries for about 10 minutes, and put them in a blender. Peel and slice the kiwifruit, and add it to the berries. Pour the orange juice in, and blend until smooth.
