How We Got Our Start

MiraBurst was founded in 2014 by Dr. Emmanuel Asare with the vision of helping the world enjoy a low-sugar eating lifestyle by making the MiraBurst Miracle Berry accessible to everyone globally. We do this by harnessing the taste-modifying property of the Miracle Berry, also known as the miracle fruit (Synsepalum dulcificum), a fruit that is native to Ghana, West Africa.

The MiraBurst Miracle Berry is a taste-modifying superfruit that works by tricking the mind to perceive sour or tart drinks, foods, and fruits as sweet without any added sweeteners or sugar at all. This can ultimately make it easier to enjoy low-sugar fruits, foods, and drinks by providing a naturally enhanced, clean, sweet taste to the food or drink.
